JOHN V. KIMBLEY

     Funeral for John V. Kimbley of Corbett will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Corbett Christian Church.
     Mr. Kimbley died Friday of injuries suffered after he was trapped under an automobile near his home. He was 25.
     Born Dec. 3, 1963, in Portland, he graduated from Corbett High School in 1982 and was a member of the school's wrestling team. He had attended Mt. Hood Community College, where he studied law enforcement. He married Roxann Bentley on Nov. 8, 1985, in Wasilla, Alaska.
     At the time of his death, he had served more than three years in the U.A. Air Force's special forces division. In addition to his wife, survivors include daughter, Michelle, and son, Dennis, all of Corbett; father, Albert Kimbley of Corbett; mother, Betty Kimbley of Corbett; brothers, Dan Jenkins of Troutdale, Robert Jenkins and Timothy Kimbley, both of Corbett, Dennis Soots of Detroit, Mich., and Matthew Soots of Eagle Creek; and sisters, Bonnie Davenport of Troutdale and Marcella Kirkman of Corbett.
     Interment will be at Trout Lake Cemetery in Trout Lake, Wash.
     The family suggests that remembrances be contributions to Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children.

JOHN KIMBLEY

     Corbett resident John V. Kimbley, 25, died Jan. 27 of injuries he suffered after being trapped under an automobile.
     Funeral was Tuesday at Corbett Christian Church. A committal service and vault interment were in Trout Lake Cemetery in Trout Lake, Wash.  
     Mr. Kimbley was born Dec. 3, 1963, in Portland. He was a 1982 graduate of Corbett High School and attended Mt. Hood Community College for two years as a law enforcement major. He served in the special forces of the U.S. Air Force for three and a half years.
     He was a member of the wrestling teams in high school and college, and played in the Shriner East-West Football Game. He enjojed the outdoors, hunting and country-Western music. 
     He married his wife, Roxann, on Nov. 8, 1985, in Wasilla, Alaska.
     He is survived by his wife, Roxann of Corbett; two children, Michelle and Dennis of Corbett;  his parents, Albert Kimbley of Corbett and mother, Betty Kimbley of Corbett; five brothers, Dan Jenkins of Troutdale, Frank Soots of Detroit, Mich., Matthew Soots of Eagle Creek, and Robert Jenkins and Timothy Kimbley, both of Corbett; and two sisters; Bonnie Davenport of Troutdale and Marcella Kirkman of Corbett.
     Memorial contributions  may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children in Portland.
     Bateman Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
