JAMES BRUBAKER
James W. Brubaker, a resident of Lyle for the last 20
years, died Saturday in Murdock at the age of 57.
He was born Feb. 11, 1925, in Bingen to Mr. and Mrs.
James Brubaker. He is a former employee of the railroad, a veteran of World
War II and the Korean conflict and a member of the Evergreen Post of Veterans
of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys; and a sister, Viola
Heinzerling, Lewiston, Idaho. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Violet
Peters and Edna Thornton.
Funeral services for Mr. Brubaker were held Wednesday
at 2 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon with Pastor Ron Keyser
officiating. Interment was at Balch Cemetery, Lyle.
