"White Salmon"

     J.W. Everhart, after weeks of sickness in a Portland hospital, died last week. The funeral was held in the Congregational church at White Salmon last Saturday. Mr. Everhart came here about a year ago, and engaged in a real estate. He located several families here, and was an active citizen in the upbuilding of the community. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Lewis. Many friends attended and a beautiful display was presented.
