MRS. ADOLPH MATTA DIES AT HOSPITAL
Funeral services for Mrs. Adolph Matta, 80-year-old
Centerville resident, who died at the State Hospital in Medical Lake, Sunday
evening, will be held from the Finnish church in Centerville at 2:00 p.m.,
Thursday.
Mrs. Matta, who was a native of Finland, is survived
by her husband, Adolph; two sons, Herman and William; and a daughter, Mrs.
J.E. Wilson, all of Centerville. Burial will be in the Centerville cemetery.

OBITUARY
Mrs. Kette Matta was born in Kuusama, Finland, Feb. 2,
1858 and passed away at the State Hospital at Medical Lake, Wash., Dec. 6,
1937 at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 4 days. She was married to Adolph
Matta in Finland in 1886 to which union were born in five children.
She came to Centerville, Washington in 1896 where she
lived on their ranch until 1916 when her health failed and she was taken
to the State Hospital.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Adolph
Matta, two sons, Herman and William, and two daughters, Mrs. Albert Wilson,
all of Centerville, and Mrs. Floyd Hetrick of Custer, Washington; three
grandchildren and several relatives in Finland. Funeral services were held
in Centerville Thursday afternoon with burial following in the Centerville
cemetery.
