MARIE KEECH
Marie Keech, 85, of Goldendale, the died April 9, 2002 in Goldendale.
She was born Oct. 14, 1916 in Benton County on the
Horse Heaven Hills to James and Marie Pointer. She attended a country school
there and was united in marriage to Henry Keech on Oct. 24, 1933 in Toppenish.
The family moved to Goldendale in 1943.
Marie was very family-oriented and loved being a
homemaker and having family gatherings at her home. She also enjoyed gardening
and crocheting. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Her husband and 12 brothers and sisters preceded her in
death.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Clifford (Eyvonne)
Wolf of Zillah and Mrs. Ed (Loretta) Cuff of Goldendale; one son, George and
wife Janet Keech of Goldendale; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren
and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held April 11 at Spring Creek
Cemetery with Pastor Vernon Chase officiating. Erdmann Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangements.
