THOMAS A. KELLEY SERVICES MONDAY
Thomas A. Kelley, longtime resident of Skamania County and more recently living
in Goldendale, died in Goldendale Tuesday, Nov. 11, according to word received
here. He was 65 years of age.
He was born December 16, 1909 in Michigan, the son of
John and Mary Kelley. He was a retired employee of the Burlington Northern
Railroad.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 17 at 2
p.m. at Gardner's Chapel in Stevenson. Interment, will follow in the pioneer
Christ-Zada cemetery in Underwood.

RITES READ FOR THOMAS KELLEY
Funeral services were held Monday for Thomas H. Kelley, longtime Skamania County
resident, who died in Goldendale November 11 at the age of 65.
Mr. Kelly was born Dec. 16, 1909 in Michigan, the son
of John and Mary Kelley, He lived for a number of years at North Bonneville and
Underwood while employed as a railway section-man for the SPS and later
Burlington Northern Railroad.
He had moved to Goldendale recently following
retirement.
He is survived by two brothers, Russell Kelley of
Vancouver and John Kelley of San Francisco, and five sisters, Edna Kidder of
Umatilla, Oregon, Irene McDowell and Hazel Baustert of Florida, Bertha Souvie of
Michigan and a sister Gladys whose present address is not known to local
friends.
Services were held at Gardner's Chapel in Stevenson with the Rev. Thomas E.
Payton officiating. Interment followed at the Chris-Zada Cemetery at Underwood
with the Rev. Father Harvey J. Owen reading the graveside prayers.
Casket bearers were Henry Throw, Keith Wright, Vernon
Baxter, Gary Peterson, Kenneth Wright and Allen Smith.
