Kelly Irene Prosser, a former Glenwood resident, died
May 30, 1995, at her home in The Dalles, at the age of 26.
Ms. Prosser was born Nov. 17, 1968, in Missoula, Mont.,
to Kenneth H. and Karen L. (Gravelly) Prosser. She grew up and attended school
in Glenwood, where she set records of long distance running and received
awards for excellence in English and literature. Since literature was her
favorite subject, she was thrilled to see Macbeth performed at the Shakespearean
Festival in Ashland. Upon graduation from Glenwood High School, she attended
Clark College in Vancouver and Portland Community College.
She enjoyed traveling and loved to write stories and
poems, and had a poem included in a national publication.
Ms. Prosser is survived by her parents Ken Prosser, Glenwood,
and John and Karen Burgess, The Dalles; brother and sister-in-law Wayne and
Susan Prosser and niece Marissa, all of Odell; grandparents Ed and Vivian
Chase, Stevenson; "grams" Wanee Kuhnhausen, Glenwood; and many aunts, uncles,
cousins and friends.
Funeral Services for Ms. Prosser were held June 4, 1995,
at 2 p.m. at Gardner's Funeral Home in White Salmon, with Pastor David Tuckness
officiating. Interment was at Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood.
Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Society.
Arrangements were handled by Gardner Funeral Home.

Kelly Irene Prosser, 26, a resident of The Dalles, died

She enjoyed traveling and was able to visit Disneyland
with her family several times. She liked to write stories and poems and had
a poem included in a national publication.
She loved animals and was always adopting
strays.
Survivors include her parents, Ken Prosser, Glenwood,
and John and Karen Burgess of The Dalles, a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne
and Susan Prosser and niece Marissa Prosser, all of Odell, grandparents Ed
and Vivian Chase of Stevenson, Wash., "grams" Wanee Kuhnhausen, Glenwood,
and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday at Gardner
Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at Gardner's Funeral Home on Sunday
at 2 p.m. with Pastor David Tuckness. Burial will be at Mt. Adams Cemetery
in Glenwood.

uncles, cousins and friends also survive.
Burial was held June 4 at Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood
with Pastor David Tuckness officiating. Gardner Funeral Home was in charge
of the arrangements.
