KATHLEEN R. MERRILL
Kathleen Merrill, a Gresham resident, died in Trout Lake
Jan. 14. She was 29.
Graveside services will be in the Trout Lake Cemetery
today (Jan. 19) at 11 a.m., with Pastor Larry Kennedy officiating. A memorial
service is planned tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, Gresham.
Mrs. Merrill is survived by her husband, Jim, Gresham;
children Alyssa Joy Merrill and Christopher James Merrill, Gresham; parents
George and Aimee Woodruff, Trout Lake, a grandmother, Elva Woodruff, Trout
Lake; sisters, Karen Woodruff, Hood River, and Diane Paxon, Trout Lake, and
a brother, David Woodruff, Trout Lake. She was preceded in death by one son,
Benjamin James Merrill.
Kathleen Merrill was born May 6, 1954 in White Salmon
to Mrs. and Mrs. George Woodruff, and graduated from Trout Lake High School
and Clark College School of Nursing. She first lived in Portland after her
marriage to James Merrill in Trout Lake in 1975. She was a registered nurse
at Providence and Kaiser Hospitals in Portland. She was affiliated with the
Adventist Hospital before becoming a full-time mother.
