LAURA A. MESKE

     Mrs. Laura A. Meske, 77, of Goldendale died July Jan. 31 in The Dalles General Hospital.
     Mrs. Meske was born Nov. 2,1902 in Hillyard and spent her entire life in Washington. She retired from the S.P.& S. Railroad in 1962.
     Surviving are her husband, Edmund Meske; two sons, Thomas Darcey and James Gerlack; three daughters, Marjorie Hale, Bernice Morgenroth and Patricia Gobbert; 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
     A funeral Mass was celebrated Feb. 4 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fr. John Heneghan officiating. Burial was in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
     Pallbearers were William Brown, Jim Whitehead, John Ball, Ed Bennett, Bob Adams and Jim Wilde.
     Honorary pallbearers were Andy Anderson, Earl Fields and Orville Elliott.
     Knosher's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
