LE ROY ANDREW SERVICES TO BE FRIDAY NOV. 17

     Le Roy Daniel Andrew, a resident of Glenwood, Wash., for the past 30 years, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, of an apparent heart attack. He was operating a State Forest Department caterpillar tractor on Flat Top Mountain when he was stricken.        Mr. Andrew was born Dec. 25, 1913 and was married to Adalaide Mitchell in Yakima, Wash., on March 14, 1939.          Surviving family includes his wife Adelaide; 1 daughter, Deanna Hanson of Goldendale, Wash.; 3 grandsons; and 1 brother, George Andrew of Glenwood.
     Services will be held Friday afternoon, Nov. 17, at 2 o'clock in the Seventh day Adventist Church in White Salmon. Pastor S.W. Jennings will officiate with interment at the Glenwood Mt. Adams Cemetery.

LEROY D. ANDREW SUCCUMBS TO HEART SEIZURE

     Death from an apparent heart attack came to LeRoy D. Andrew of Glenwood while working with a "Cat" in the Flat Top Mountain are Tuesday morning, November 14. Rip Graham, who was working with him notices that his machine idling for some time and upon investigating found him draped over in his seat. He called an ambulance from the SDS shops at the old Hollenbeck mill. Roy Weatherly and Bill Bush took the Gardner Ambulance out in answer to the call. Mr. Andrew, 53, was born December 25, 1913 at Bickleton and was married in Yakima on March 14, 1939. He had lived in Glenwood for the past 30 years. He was employed by the State Department of Natural Resources. He is survived by his wife Adelaide; a daughter, Deanna Hanson of Goldendale, Wash.; three grandsons; and a brother, George Andrew of Glenwood. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 17, at 2 p.m. at the SDA church in White Salmon with interment at the Mt. Adams Cemetery at Glenwood. Pastor S.W. Jennings will officiate.
