LOIS D. CLARK

     White Salmon resident Lois D. Clark died Friday, Jan. 1, in Skyline Hospital at the age of 54.
     She was born Aug. 16, 1933 to Bill and Zoma (Netherton) Jones in Canyon City, Colo. The family came to Hood River, Ore., when she was a child, moving to White Salmon in 1949. Her first husband, Frank Abrams, was killed in a logging accident. She married Ben Clark in 1957. She was employed by Skyline Hospital as a housekeeper, and helped with the Red Cross Bloodmobile at local drawings.
     Mrs. Clark is survived by her husband, Ben of White Salmon; children Dennis Abrams of Vancouver, Wash., Karen Blevins of White Salmon, Thomas and Tony Clark of Bingen, and Kasey Clark of White Salmon; brother Larry Jones of Mosier, Ore.; sisters Lavada Schultz of Hood River, Carol Clement of Cascade Locks and Gala Hill of Red Bluff, Calif., and 11grandchildren.  
     Graveside services for Mrs. Clark were held Tuesday, Jan. 5, at the White Salmon Cemetery. The Rev. Dave Garrison officiated. Interment followed under the direction of Gardner Funeral Home, White Salmon.
     Memorial contributions may be made to Skyline Foundation, care of Skyline Hospital, White Salmon.
