LOIS E. GARRETT
Lois L. Garrett of Cook died last Thursday at home. She
was 77.
Mrs. Garrett was born Sept. l2, 1915 in Iowa to John
and Kate Hess. She was born and raised in Iowa, married Delbert "Brownie"
Garrett in Iowa in 1937.They moved to Mill A in l939 and then to Washougal
in 1946 where they lived until the late l960s when they moved back to Mill
A.
A homemaker, she attended the Evergreen Presbyterian
Church in Mill A and loved to crochet. Delbert preceded her in death in September
1992.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Vernon
and Alice Garrett of Cook; brothers, Wilbur and Kelly Hess of Iowa; three
grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at the
Evergreen Presbyterian Church in Mill A. Private burial was held at White
Salmon Cemetery.
Contributions may be given to Evergreen Presbyterian
Church in Mill A.
Gardner Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
