LAURA EMMA ODLE
Laura Emma Odle was born June 19, 1904 to Henry and Emma
Schneider Kleinow in Cottonwood County, Minn. and died January 12, 1967 at
Portland, Ore.
She spent the early part of her 63 years in the Cottonwood
area and later worked for many years as a laboratory technician at the hospital
in Mt. Lake, Minn. She had been a life-long member of the Evangelical Lutheran
Church.
She was united in matrimony to George Emerson Odle on
June 27, 1946 at Goldendale. The couple then spent their entire married life
in Glenwood where she worked for the J. Neils Lumber Co.
She is survived by three brothers, William, Albert and
Walter Kleinow; two sisters, Anna Wojahn and Elsie Henke, all of Minnesota,
and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held January 16 at Our Savior
Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bingen. Pallbearers were Paul Hemerick, Orville
Knutson, Syl Kirsten, Ed Cox, Paul Krenz and Leon Holtman. Interment was
in the White Salmon Cemetery under the direction of the Gardner Funeral Home.
