LEONARD SCHMID
Leonard Schmid, a longtime resident of Trout Lake, died
Thursday in Trout Lake at the age of 56.
Mr. Schmid was born Sept. 26, 1925, in Trout Lake to
Mrs. and Mrs. Adolph Schmid. A farmer in Trout Lake and Brazil, he was also
a member of Trout Lake Presbyterian Church and Trout Lake Grange 210.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his mother, Eava
Schmid, Trout Lake; three sons, Terry Schmid and Bruce Schmid, both of Trout
Lake, and Tracy Schmid, Moses Lake; two daughters, Patricia Gray, Seattle,
and Suann Orr, Portland; one brother, Delbert Schmid, Trout Lake; one sister,
Janice Creighton, White Salmon; and two granddaughters.
Funeral services for Mr. Schmid were held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Trout
Lake Presbyterian Church with Rev. James McGugin, James Haldy and James Gray
officiating. Interment was in the Trout Lake Cemetery.
