LEO H. KORTH
Funeral services for Leo Henry Korth, 65, who died Friday,
will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday from the chapel of A.J. Rose & Son. Burial
will be in Lincoln Memorial Park.
Mr. Korth was born January 14, 1886, in Portsmouth, Ia.
He lived in Portland the last 41 years. His residence was 31 N.W. 22d place.
He was a member of Orient lodge No. 17, Golden Rule
Encampment and Utopia Rebekah lodge No. 62.
Survivors are the widow, Pearl, daughter, Mrs. Anne Walton
and Mrs. Mary Lou Hunnington, Portland; son Leo F. Korth, Munster, Ind.;
nine grandchildren, and eight brothers and sisters, Peter and Jacob in
California; Frank, Kansas City, Mo.; Mary Fredrick, Anna and Gertrude Coughlin,
Omaha, Neb.; Rose Stewart and Bertha Reid, Council Bluffs, Ia.
(Mr. Korth is actually buried in Portland, but does have a headstone in Balch Cemetery)
