LUCY JANE ALLEN

     Funeral services were held for Lucy Jane Allen of Husum, Monday at 2 p.m. at Gardner's chapel.
     Mrs. Allen was born at Catlin, Illinois, January 22, 1895. she passed away at Hood River Hospital April 20, 1945.
     She is survived by her father, H.M. harris, a son, Charles Allen; and a daughter, Pauline Hendricks, all of White Salmon.
     At the time of her illness she was an employee of the Tent Pole factory at Bingen.

LUCY JANE ALLEN

     Lucy Jane Allen passed away April 20 at the hospital in Hood River, Oregon. She was born January 22, 1895, in Catlin, Illinois, and was married in Bloomington, Illinois, on March 1, 1911. They lived in LeRoy, Illinois, until 1928 when they came to White Salmon. Mr. Allen passed away about four years ago. Their home was at Husum.
     She is survived by her father, H. M. Harris; a son, Charles Allen, and a daughter, Pauline Hendryx. all of Husum.

HUSUM MOURNS MRS. ALLEN'S DEATH

     HUSUM, April 25 (Special) -- Our community was shocked by the death of Mrs. Lucille Allen. We wish to express our sincere sympathy to her family. We have lost a kind friend and good neighbor. She will be greatly missed by all, especially the school children, who had learned to love her through her work at the school, off and on, over a period of several years.
