L.J DOHERTY, TROUT LAKE PASSES AWAY
TROUT LAKE, May 10:-- At the family home in Trout Lake,
Mr. L.J. Doherty passed away, Tuesday morning after a brief illness. His
family were with him at the time. Besides his widow to mourn his loss he
leaves five daughters, Peggy, Claire, Kathleen, Rosemary and Florence, and
four sons: Dick, Jack, Pat and Bobby.
The funeral services were held in the Catholic Church
in White Salmon yesterday a.m. Interment was in the Grange Cemetery of Trout
Lake.
With the passing of Mr. Doherty, Trout Lake will lose
a much valued friend and financial support as the Doherty cheese factory
has offered and easy and ready market for the disposal of many hundreds of
pounds of milk a day. In all probability the sons will continue in the work
their father has started. We all deeply regret and mourn with the family,
the loss of their dearly beloved husband and father. To them we extend our
heartfelt sympathy in this dark hour of grief.
