LLOYD J. KNUTSON
Lloyd J. Knutson, 90, a resident of Dodson, Ore., died
Saturday Nov. 13, from complications due to cancer.
Mr. Knutson was born in June 14, 1903 in White Salmon
to Lucille (Chapmen) and Gilbert J. Knutson. He grew up and worked in the
White Salmon area where he met his wife of 49 years, Mabel.
He worked for many years in the logging and sawmill industry
in White Salmon until injuries forced an early retirement. Mr. Knutson was
also a member of the Elk's lodge where he earned a 50 year pin.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel of Dodson; a son Glynne
Edward of McKinnleyville, Calif.; a son Lloyd Vivian of Rufus, Ore.; a step-son
Frank J. Sanders of Elgin, Oregon; and many grandchildren.
Private family graveside services will be held Friday,
Nov. 19.
The family suggests that contributions may be made to
a favorite charity.
