LONG ILLNESS COMES TO END
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Dec. 22, at
Gardner's Funeral Home for Lester J. Stearns, 50. He has been bedridden from
multiple schlerosis and a patient at North Bonneville Sanitarum since March
1951.
Mr. Stearns was born January 26, 1908 at Goldendale and
died at North Bonneville last Thursday, Dec. 18.
Gardners were in charge of funeral arrangements. The
Rev. Oscar Olsen officiated. Burial was in the White Salmon Odd Fellows
cemetery.
He is survived by a brother, Charles G. Stearns of Vancouver
and a nephew, W.C. Stearns of Klickitat.
