WARD SERVICES TODAY AT BAPTIST CHURCH IN VALLEY
Lillian Lucille Akerill was born February 12th, 1906
in Edmonton, Canada and passed away September 13th, 1964 in White Salmon,
Washington. She was the daughter of the late Parley and Annie Akerill of
Glenwood.
On March 1, 1925 she was united in marriage to Delbert
Merrill Ward. To this union three daughters were born: Lillian, Vivian, and
Florence. Lillian preceded her mother in death in 1928. Her husband preceded
her in death in 1935.
Lucille was united in marriage to Rolaston S. Ward February
10th, 1946. To this union one son, Ronald, was born.
Survivors are her husband, Rolaston of Glenwood, Washington;
daughters, Mrs. Spencer Thompson of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Mrs. L.D. Mahoney
of Cathlamet, Washington, and her son Ronald of Glenwood. Also, one brother,
Merle Akerill; one sister, Mrs. George Hettrick, both of Glenwood. Three
grand daughters and one grandson. Numerous nieces and nephews and a host
of friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 17th, 1:30
p.m. at the Glenwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Mr. E.T. Ratcliff officiating.
Interment will be in the Mt. Adams Cemetery, Glenwood, Washington.

DEATH SUMMONS MRS. R.S. WARD
Funeral services for Mrs. Rolaston S. (Lillian Lucille
Akerill) Ward, 58, of Glenwood, will be held at 1:30 p.m. today, Thursday,
Sept. 17 at the Glenwood Baptist Church.
Gardners Funeral Service of White Salmon is in charge
of arrangements. The Rev. T.E. Ratcliff will officiate. Burial will be in
Mt. Adams Cemetery near Glenwood.
Bearers will be Leon Conboy, Phillip Dean, William Leaton,
Scott Miller, Raymond Schurtz and Fred Steinbach Sr.

Mrs. Ward died Sunday, Sept. 13 at Skyline Hospital,
White Salmon.
She is survived by her widower, Rolaston S. Ward, and
son Ronald, both of Glenwood; daughters, Mrs. Spencer Thompson of Wichita
Falls, Texas, and Mrs. L.D. Mahoney of Cathlamet.
Also one brother, Merle Akerill and one sister, Mrs.
Geo. Hettrick, both of Glenwood; three granddaughters, 1 grandson, numerous
nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
