OBITUARY
Lottie May Dennis was born in Illinois August 25, 1871.
She was united in marriage to T.M. Benedict Dec. 25, 1888. With her husband,
she came to Oregon in January, 1889. They lived near Ione, Ore. for a number
of years. Five years ago Mr. and Mrs. Benedict came to live near Lyle, on
their farm, where Mrs. Benedict passed away Dec. 13, 1924.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son and three
daughters: T.M, Jr., of Lyle; Mrs. Yola May Haas of Portland, Ore.; Mrs.
Lottie Irene McNabb, and Goldie Love Benedict, of Lyle. She is also survived
by her father and one brother, Sam and Henry Dennis, both of Ione, Ore.,
and two grandchildren.
