LOUISA M. LINDEN, PIONEER RESIDENT, INTERRED MONDAY
Louisa M. Heller Linden, one of the old pioneers of the
county died Thursday, July 30 at the Goldendale hospital. She had not been
well for several years.
She was born in Stockton, California January 19, 1861,
to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Heller and was married to Joseph Linden May 15, 1879
in Merced City, California.
They came to Goldendale in 1882 making their home on
their homestead near Goldendale. To this union nine children were born.
Her husband and four children preceded her in death.
She leaves to mourn her, three daughters and two sons. Josie Woods and Jennie
Linden of Kennewick. Dolly Madden, Joe and Frank of Goldendale; also 14
grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She belonged to the Holy Trinity Church from which her
funeral was held Monday with burial in the Catholic cemetery.
Six grandsons were her pallbearers: Ray, Robert, Duane
and Calvin Linden, Clinton Woods and Bill Bates.
