LESLIE M. VOIGT

     Leslie M. "Windy" Voigt, a longtime resident of the area, died Thursday at BZ Corners at the age of 63.
     Mr. Voigt was born March 4, 1919 in Halliday, N.D. to Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Voigt. He moved to the White Salmon area in 1946, where he worked as a logger.
     He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; two daughters, Judy Gross, BZ Corners and Marilyn Chapman, Selah; two sons, Dennis Voigt, BZ Corners and Don Voigt, Wasilla, Alaska; two brothers, Robert and Ervin Voigt, both of Halliday, N.D.; a sister, Estella Koch, Cook; and two grandsons, Kevin and Billy Gross, BZ Corner.
     Services for Mr. Voigt were held Monday at 10 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home, with Father Stecher and the Rev. Purcell officiating. Interment was in the White Salmon Cemetery.
