LULA YARNELL
Lula M. Yarnell, a resident of White Salmon for the past
81 years, died Friday in Hood River at the age of 91.
Mrs. Yarnell was born May 22, 1891, and Gaston, Ore.,
to Mr. and Mrs. Branaman.
She is survived by her husband, Lemuel, The Dalles; her
children, Mildred Dickey, Dorothy Abken, Leonard Yarnell, Pete Yarnell and
Mary Jane Arnold, all of White Salmon, Donald Yarnell, Underwood, Raymond
Yarnell, Bingen, Iva Rogers, Portland, and Bernice Wright, Anchorage, Alaska;
a half brother, Roscoe Branaman, Chula Vista, Calif.; and many grandchildren
and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Yarnell were held Tuesday at
2 p.m. at the Gardner Funeral Home, with Rev. David Garrison officiating.
Interment was in the White Salmon cemetery.
