LEONARD ELMER
Leonard (Buck) Elmer, born March 1, 1925, in Trout Lake,
to Albert and Grace Elmer, died on Oct. 4, 2002, at the age of 77 in Cocolalla,
Idaho.
Mr. Elmer spent his younger years in Trout Lake and joined
the Army during World War II at the age of 18. He served in the South Pacific
and received three Purple Hearts. He spent the latter years of his life in
North Idaho. He always had a horse or two, which was the love of his life.
Mr. Elmer is survived by son Dennis Elmer; daughter Geraldine
Myers; two sisters Lucille Moseby and Judy Pezznecker; grandsons, a
granddaughter, numerous great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces, and many
wonderful friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, brothers
Christ, Gene, Ivan and Clyde Elmer and sisters Lillian Williamson and Ruth
Jones.
Funeral services will be held in Trout Lake at the grange
hall on Oct. 19, 2002, at 1 p.m.
