LORETTA O. DICKEY
Loretta Olga Dickey, 66, of Bingen passed away June 19,
1997, in The Dalles.
She was born March 15, 1931, in Springfield, Ore. to
Martha M. (Walther) and John H. Kock.
She was raised in Willard, Wash. and graduated from Stevenson
High School. She married Robert Dickey September 3, 1950, and they settled
in Bingen. She worked on the family farm (Dickey Farms). She loved to entertain,
cook and work in her yard. She had suffered the last several years from an
illness. She was a member of Bethel Congregational Church in White Salmon.
She is survived by her husband, Robert, at home; son,
Stanley Dickey of Bingen; daughters, Janis Leis and Laurie Walker both of
Bingen; mother, Martha Kock of Bingen; brother, John Kock of White Salmon;
and 5 grandchildren.
Memorial services were held June 25, 1997 at Bethel
Congregational Church, White Salmon, with the Rev. Sigmund Podlozny, Jr.
officiating. Private vault inurnment was at the White Salmon Cemetery, White
Salmon. Memorials may be made to Skyline Foundation, Bethel Congregational
Church or a charity of one's choice. Gardner Funeral Home, Inc. of White
Salmon was in charge of arrangements.
