LOTTIE PEARL PETERS
Lottie Pearl Peters, 96, died July 24, 1991 at Community
Hospital in Yakima. She was born June 16, 1895 to Benjamin and Olivia Catherine
O'Neal. She received her education at Glenwood and on June 5, 1916 she was
united in marriage to Maurice Schneidler at Goldendale. They lived in the
Glenwood area where he worked in logging. Mr. Schneidler was killed in the
shipyards during World War II. Lottie and her family continued living in
Glenwood.
On September 22, 1946 she was united in marriage to John
R. Peters, a minister of the gospel. They lived in Montana, Oregon and various
locations in Washington, as ministerial duties required.
Lottie was preceded in death by John R. Peters; 1 sister,
Lilivon Bolt; 3 sons, Maurice Jr., Johnnie and Benjamin F. Schneidler; 3
daughters Pearl Whitman, Ruby Whitchurch and Opal Huffsmith.
Survivors include 2 daughters, June Danielson of Yakima
and Janet Booher of La Center; 1 brother, Fred W. O'Neal of Harrah, and many
grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also a number of nieces and nephews.
Lottie spent many years doing home nursing care for the
elderly until her health made it necessary for her to retire.
Her hobbies included crocheting and tatting, having received
many blue ribbons for work submitted to the Fair in Grandview.
Lottie was a member of the Grace Brethern Church in
Sunnyside.

LOTTIE PEARL PETERS
Lottie Pearl Peters, 97, of Yakima, died Wednesday at
Community Hospital.
She was born in Glenwood and had lived at Harve, Mont.,
Ashland, Ore., and Manson. She then lived in the Outlook-Sunnyside area.
Survivors include two daughters, June Danielson of Yakima
and Janet Booher of LaCenter; a brother, Fred O'Neal of Harrah; and many
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Shaw & Sons Memorial Chapel, Yakima, is in charge
of arrangements.

YAKIMA -- Graveside services for Mrs. Pearl Peters, 97, who died July 24, 1991, will be held Monday, July 28th, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Adams Grange Cemetery in Glenwood. Shaw & Sons Memorial Chapel in charge of arrangements.
