LYLE TOBIN

     Lyle R. Tobin, 84 of Centerville, passed away Dec. 30, 1996 in Goldendale.
     He was born July 4, 1912 to John and Goldie Tobin. He attended schools in Centerville and Washington State University in Pullman.
     Lyle married Edna Jaekel in 1934 and lived in Klickitat until 1944, when they moved to the farm near Centerville. Lyle farmed all of his life and like to hunt and fish.
     He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna in 1989 and a sister, June Tobin.
     Lyle is survived by one son, Larry of Centerville; one daughter, Mrs. Don (Dana) Slawson of Goldendale; one brother, Jack of Goldendale; one sister, Jean Ansel of Yuma, Ariz.; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
     Funeral services were held Jan. 4 in the Erdman Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Akins officiating. Interment was in the Centerville Cemetery.
