L.S. WATERMAN SERVICES HELD JUNE 12TH
Lawrence S. Waterman had lived in the Bingen-White Salmon
area since 1940. He passed away at the Seventh Day Adventist Hospital in
Portland, Oregon, June 8, 1973.
He was born in Snohomish, Washington to William and Zula
Waterman August1 18, 1906.
He had been a woodsman in the logging industry all of
his working life except for five years when he worked for the Forest Service.
They had been retired for the past four and a half years.
Mr. Waterman was married to Fannie E. Blue March 8, 1934,
in Pasco, Washington.
He lived all of his life in the State of Washington.
He had been a thirty-five year charter member of the
Eagles Lodge of Bingen, Washington.
Surviving him is his wife; Fannie E. Waterman of Bingen;
Two sisters: Mrs. Marion (Edward) Blue of White Salmon; Mrs. Josephine (Harry)
Crater of Colusa, Ca.; Mother: Zula Parks of Cascade Villa Nursing Home in
Goldendale, Washington.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 12th, at 3:00
p.m. at Gardner's Funeral Home in White Salmon, Wa. Interment was in the
White Salmon Cemetery. The Rev. Mr. Donald Kaelin of the United Methodist
Church of White Salmon officiated.
