LELIA TALBERT PASSES AWAY IN PORTLAND

     Lelia Talbert passed away on Feb. 29 in Portland, Or. where she had made her home for the last two years.
     She was born in Oklahoma County, Okla. on February 19, 1893 and was married to Walter I. Talbert, White Salmon, on Dec. 25, 1912. Her husband preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 1969.
     She is survived by four daughters, Lois Barger of Portland, Dorothy Young of White Salmon, Elaine Snyder of Seattle and Janice Spring of White Salmon; 20 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. One daughter, Blanche Sager and a son, Earl Talbert, preceded her in death.
     Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 2, at 10:30 a.m. in Gardner's Funeral Home in White Salmon, with interment at Klickitat County Cemetery District No. 1 in White Salmon. Rev. Arthur Davy officiated.
