LLOYD HICKEY SERVICES HELD FEBRUARY 17TH
Lloyd W. Hickey was born on July 7, 1894 in Glenflora,
Wisc., son of James and Ellen Marie Hickey. At an early age the family moved
to Vancouver, Wash. He worked for various sheep companies, the Forest Service
and for the 24 years prior to retiring was mail carrier between Glenwood
and White Salmon.
He was united in marriage to Edythe MacDonald June 15,
1935 and is survived by his wife and two children, Lloyd of Issaquah and
Lillian Ladiges of White Salmon. Seven grandchildren and several nieces and
nephews.
He was past commander of Ariel McCumber Post of Glenwood,
World War I Barracks, Masonic Lodge #163, Order of Eastern Star
#107.
He passed away Feb.14 in Wickenburg, Arizona after a
short illness.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 17, at 1:00
p.m. at Gardner's Funeral Home in White Salmon, Washington. Interment was
in the White Salmon Cemetery. Rev. Mr. Donald Kaelin of the United Methodist
Church of White Salmon officiated, assisted by the Masonic Lodge of White
Salmon.
