     Funeral services for the late Matt Crocker will be held Friday, November 23, at 2 p.m., at the Knosher Funeral Home.

MATTHEW CROCKER

     Matthew (Matt) Crocker, the son of John and Sara Crocker, was born in Norway on May 16, 1867.
     As a small child he came with his family to the United States, settling at Calumet, Mich. In 1877 the Crocker family, along with their other families, came to the Centerville vicinity. They were the first group of Finnish settlers in the county.
     In 1892 Mr. Crocker was united in marriage to Anna Matson. To this union one son, Wilbert, was born.
     Mr. Crocker was a member of the Apostolic Lutheran church at Centerville and of Centerville Grange No. 81.
     He is survived by his son Wilbert, a grandson Stanley of Centerville, a granddaughter Mrs. Ann Miller of Washougal and five great-grandchildren. Two nieces and two nephews also survive.
     Funeral services for Matthew Crocker were held Friday, November 23 at the Knosher Funeral Home in Goldendale, with Ray Hilman as the officiating minister. Interment was in the Centerville Grange cemetery.
