MAXIM DAVIS DIES NEW YEAR'S EVE
Maxim Davis, about 60, was found dead in his cabin December
31 by his 13-year-old son, James Joseph Davis. Davis was said to have suffered
a heart attack and was believed to have died about 4:00 a.m., two hours before
being found by his son.
Mr. Davis and his son made their home in Goldendale for
the past three years and was engaged in the carpenters business. For the
past three years he was employed by the Nickerson Construction company. The
deceased moved to Goldendale from CleElum, it is reported.
According to the son, two other brothers survive, however
their address is unknown. For the present, the son of the deceased man is
making his home with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Walman.
Unless word is received from relatives, funeral services
will be held from the Catholic Church Saturday morning, January 7, it is
reported.
