MARGARET YOUNG
Mrs. George W. (Margaret Eleanor) Young was born in Lebanon,
Kentucky November 12, 1874 and passed away at West Klickitat Hospital, W.S.
January 8, 1952.
Her girlhood was spent at St. Cloud, Minnesota. After
her marriage to Albert Robins, she and her husband moved to Toronto, Canada
where both joined the Baptist church. Mr. Robins died on May 28, 1927.
After her husband's death, she made her home in Portland
with her brother Edd Curry, until 1935 when she married George W. Young on
September 5, 1935 at Kelso, Washington. Since that date the couple have lived
at Locke Hill.
Services will be conducted by the Reverend James Duffy
at Gardner's Funeral Home on Friday, January 11 at 2 p.m.. Interment will
be in the IOOF cemetery. Mrs. Young is survived by her husband, one sister,
Elizabeth Eddelman of Oakland, California, two nephews, J.E. Curry and Ronald
Curry, both of Portland, and one niece, Marie Maxfield, also of Portland.
