MARGUERITE ANN KAYSER
Marguerite Ann Kayser, 80, of Centerville, died Aug. 26, 2007, at Mid Columbia
Medical Center in The Dalles.
She was born Sept. 5, 1926, in White Salmon, to Russell
and Marie Wyers. She was the oldest of five children. Marguerite attended school
in the Gilmer Valley and White Salmon.
She married Keith C. Kayser on Nov. 25, 1950, together
they farmed and ranched side by side in Centerville and raised seven children.
Marguerite was a past president of the Washington
Cattlewomen Assoc., past president of the Klickitat County Cowbelles, a
Centerville Grange member, school board secretary and Klickitat County Fair
Rodeo secretary and board member.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Kayser,
brothers, Oliver T. Kreps and Russell R. Kreps, and granddaughter Sally Kayser
Mills.
Survivors include her children Neil and Jill Kayser,
Nate Kayser, Ned Kayser, Nancy and Jim Sizemore, Noma Ferguson and Nora and Tim
Keyes, all of Centerville; siblings, Olga Jane Hecomovich and Mary Louise
Shattuck; grandchildren, Jess, Kelsy, Will, Cori, Jenny, Hanna, Jolene, Jaclyn,
Kelli, Shelby and Macy; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, Aug. 30, at
1o a.m. at the Centerville Cemetery, Pastor Ken Akins officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Washington
Cattleman's Association Endowment trust fund.
