MADELINE PEARSON
Services were held June 12 at 2 p.m. at Stoller Memorial
chapel for Madeline (Maude) Pearson, 55, of Vancouver who died June 5 while
in Central Valley, N.Y., for her health. The Rev. H.B. Thomas officiated.
Entombment was in Lincoln Memorial Park Mausoleum, Portland.
Born in Chadron, O., Oct. 29, 1895, she was a long-time
resident of Trout Lake and taught school there for many years. In recent
years she had been teaching in the Evergreen schools, Mill Plain, until illness
prevented continuation. She was a past matron of the Order of the Eastern
Star at Trout Lake.
Survivors include the widower, Carl, Vancouver; son,
Robert, Portland; daughters, Mrs. Erma Libbey, Seattle, Mrs. Carole Pederson,
Olympia; mother, Mrs. Emma Kingman, Vancouver; brothers, Garland Bell, Ohio;
Harry Bell, Ohio; and five grandchildren.
