MRS. GRANT MERCHANT PASSES AWAY SUDDENLY

This community was shocked this week by the sudden death of Mrs. Grant Merchant, wife of the pastor of the Congregational Church. Mrs. Merchant was one of the best-known women of this section having resided in the Bristol district several years before moving to White Salmon. She had taken a most prominent part in the religious welfare of this community, and the many friends extend their sincerest sympathy to the family.
