OBITUARY MRS. A. R. MILLER
Martha A. Wood was born May 1st, 1869 at Alton, Crawford
County, Indiana. She came west from Iowa with her parents in 1884, settled
at Hood River and moved to White Salmon in 1886. She came here at the time
of her marriage to Alexander Richard Miller in 1891. They homesteaded the
land where they have lived since, Mr. Miller passing away a few years ago.
Mrs. Miller was one of the best known women of the Mountain Brook district,
a splendid neighbor loved by all the people who knew her. She is survived
by three sons, Cecil, Sidney and William. She passed away on Wednesday October
17th.
