MARY A. SEAGER SERVICES MON.
Final rites were held at Gardner's Funeral Home in White
Salmon Monday Oct. 9 for Mrs. Mary Ann Nystrom Seager, who died Tuesday,
Oct. 3 at Simcoe Manor Nursing home in Goldendale. Rev. Roger Clevenger
officiated. Burial was in Goodwill Cemetery at White Salmon.
She was born Oct. 18, 1891 at Pine Island, Minn. Before
moving to Underwood in 1953, she had lived at Bingen. She has been at the
nursing home since Sept. 1965.
Twelve children survive: Harry Canfield of Portland,
John E. Canfield of Stevenson, Carl Nystrom of Eureka, Calif.; Fred Nystrom,
serving with the military in Viet Nam; Bernard and Lyle of Eureka; Theodore
Nystrom of Seattle; Donald of Klickitat, Robert of Milton-Freewater, Ore.;
Leslie Nystrom of Stevenson; Pauline M. Lea of Underwood and Shirley A. Brooks
of Bingen. There are 35 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters,
Sylvia Hams of Warroad, Minn., and Luella Paulsen of Badger, Minn.; and two
brothers, Fred Conover of Washington and Orrin Conover, Casson, Minn.
