MARY STEWART

     Mary E. Stewart, a former Trout Lake resident, died April 3 in Tacoma at the age of 90.
     Mrs. Stewart was born Feb. 15, 1894, in Ohio to Edgar and Elizabeth (Coate) Duncan. She moved to Tacoma 14 years ago after living much of her life in Trout Lake.
     She was a member of the Lakewood United Presbyterian Church in Tacoma and the United Presbyterian Women. She was past deaconess of the Trout Lake Presbyterian Church, past president of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary of Trout Lake and past matron of Eastern Star of Trout Lake.
     She is survived by one daughter, Donna Wilson, Tacoma; one son Stanley D. Stewart, Mesa, Ariz.; two brothers, Clifford Duncan, Camas, and Carlton Duncan, Oregon; two sisters, Helen Craig, Camas, and Vesta Carpenter, Springfield, Ore.; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
     Services were Friday at 11 a.m. in the Little Church on the Prairie in Tacoma. Graveside services were Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Trout Lake Cemetery, with arrangements by Mt. View Funeral Home, Tacoma.
     Contributions may be made to the Little Church on the Prairie or the American Heart Association.

     Mary E. Stewart, 90, of Tacoma died Tuesday.
     She was born in Ohio and moved to Tacoma 14 years ago from Trout Lake, where she resided most of her life.
     Mrs. Stewart was a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary and a past matron of the Order of Eastern Star, both of Trout Lake.
     She was a former deaconess of the Trout Lake Presbyterian Church and a member of United Presbyterian Women and the Lakewood United Methodist Church.
     Survivors include a daughter, Donna Wilson of Tacoma; a son Stanley D. Stewart of Mesa, Ariz.; two brothers, Clifford Duncan of Camas and Carlton Duncan of Tolovana Park, Ore.; two sisters, Helen Craig of Camas and Vesta Carpenter of Springfield, Ore.; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
     Mountain View Funeral Home is in charge.

STEWART -- Services for Mrs. Mary E. Stewart will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Little Church on the Prairie, 6310 Motor Ave., S.W. with Dr. Vernon G. Elgin officiating. Under the direction of Mountain View Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the Trout Lake Cemetery, Trout Lake, Washington with Rev. Paul Burgess officiating. Donations may be made to the Little Church on the Prairie or the American Heart Association.
