     Matthew Ahola, a resident of this valley for a quarter of a century, died in this city Friday afternoon, says the Centerville paper of Oct. 9. Mr. Ahola was born in Finland in 1826. He crossed the Atlantic and settled in Michigan in the early '70s, and in 1878 came to this county. His wife died last May. Five children survive him: Peter, Matthew and Mrs. August Lehto of this vicinity, A.J. of Goldendale, and Margaret, of Wilbur, Wash.
