MONTY S. AUSTIN DIES IN H.R.
Monty S. Austin passed away June 26th in the Hood River
Memorial Hospital in Hood River, Oregon. He was born January 24, 1911 in
Graham County, Kansas to Russell and Emma Austin.
He had lived in the White Salmon area for many years
farming and driving a school bus.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 30th, at 2:30
p.m. at Gardner's Funeral Home in White Salmon, Washington. Interment was
in the White Salmon Cemetery.
Rev. Donald K Kaelin officiated at the services.
Surviving him is his wife: Mary Jane Austin of White
Salmon; three sons, Russell G. Austin, Phillip Austin of White Salmon; David
W. Austin of White Salmon. A daughter, Ann Mario Austin of White Salmon.
Three sisters; Vernice Youngren of Pennose Colorado;
Virginia Birney of Liberal, Kansas; Neva Yarnell of White Salmon, Washington.
One brother Laurence Austin of Burns, Oregon. Five grandchildren.
