MARY GLASCOE
Mary Alice Glascoe, 85, died in Vancouver on Friday, Aug. 23, 2002.
She was born in The Dalles, Ore., on June 29, 1917, the daughter of
Fred and Gertrude (Ferguson) Wood. She and her husband Horace lived in White
Salmon, where she owned and operated her craft shop, The Yarn Tree, in the
Bingen Winery building.
The couple later moved to Vancouver, where Mr. Glascoe died on Jan.
11, 2000.
Surviving Mrs. Glascoe are her sons Thomas E. and Gayland Lee
Glascoe; daughter Mary Helen Borigo; brothers Joe, John, Bob and Paul Wood;
seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held. Interment was at the White Salmon
Cemetery.
Gardner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
