PIONEER WOMAN DIES AT CENTERVILLE HOME
The death of Mrs. W.B. Hayden occurred last night about
7:00 o'clock at the family home at Centerville, following an illness of some
time. She was 79 years of age at the time of her death. For the past two
years she had been troubled with heart affliction, and for two weeks previous
to her death, she had been bedfast.
Mrs. W. B. Hayden had been a resident of Klickitat County
for over 42 years. She and her husband came to Centerville where they made
their home. He was a well known merchant at that place until recent years,
when he disposed of the store. The couple have been married 61 years. One
daughter survives Mrs. Hayden, Mrs. Linnie Mulligan. There are two
grand-daughters.
The funeral services will be held from the church at
Centerville Friday afternoon this week, at 2:30 o'clock, interment following
in the Centerville Cemetery. The sympathy of a great many friends comfort
of the surviving husband, and daughter.
