MATTHEW HUNSAKER
Matthew Clayton Hunsaker, a White Salmon resident, died
Nov. 12, 1998, in a logging truck accident near Goldendale, at the age of
29.
Mr. Hunsaker was born Sept. 16, 1969, in San Antonio,
Texas, to Richard and Martha (Bagby) Hunsaker. He moved to White Salmon with
his family 1986. He finished high school at Columbia High, then attended
commercial driving school. He worked as a short- and long-haul truck driver,
most recently hauling timber.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Eagles
and the CB club in Hood River.
Mr. Hunsaker is survived by his parents, Richard and
Martha Hunsaker, White Salmon; sisters Joy, Crystal and Sara Hunsaker, all
of White Salmon; grandparents Lena Mae and Wesley Nichols, Lamesa, Texas;
and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by sister Clarissa
Hunsaker.
Graveside services for Mr. Hunsaker were held Wednesday,
Nov. 18, at 2 p.m. at the White Salmon Cemetery, with Roy "Bud" McGee
officiating.
Arrangements were handled by Gardner Funeral Home in
White Salmon.
