MARY KINNAN DIES FRIDAY AT BLOCKHOUSE
Funeral service says for Miss Mary C. Kinnan, 79, resident
of Klickitat county for more than 30 years, were held from the Phillips Funeral
Home Monday afternoon.
Miss Kinnan died at her home near Blockhouse last Friday.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. C.D. Hatfield, of Goldendale; and Mrs.
Frona Peters, of Hornick, Iowa. Two nieces and three nephews also survive.
She was born in near Bloomington, McLean county, Illinois,
August 7, 1862. She spent her early childhood in Illinois and later moved
to Iowa with her parents. She came to Washington more than 30 years ago.
She had been a devout Christian from an early age.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. C.J. Hall,
pastor of the Goldendale Methodist church. Burial was in the Spring Creek
cemetery.
