MABEL CONBOY

     Former Glenwood resident Mabel Conboy died in Hermiston, Ore., Friday, Aug. 25. She was 86.
     She was born in St. Clair County, Mo., Jan 2, 1903. She was a long time resident of eastern Oregon since 1944 and formerly lived in Glenwood, where she was a member of the Glenwood Grange and the Glenwood Pioneers.
     Mrs. Conboy was a member of the Senior Center and the Pythian Sisters of The Dalles, Ore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orie Conboy.
     Mrs. Conboy is survived by sons Bill Conboy of Goldendale and Les Conboy of Umatilla, Ore.; daughters Lorraine Talbert, Missoula, Mont., and June Tarp of Caldwell, Idaho; brother Clarence Wright of Vancouver; sisters Ellen Fair of Camas and Della Eaton of Rufus, Ore.; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
     Graveside services were held Monday, Aug. 28, at Glenwood Cemetery with Burns Mortuary of Hermiston in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be given to the Glenwood Cemetery.

CONBOY

     Mabel Conboy was born in St. Clair County, Mo. on Jan. 2, 1903, and died in Good Shepard Community Hospital, Hermiston, Friday, August 25 and the age of 86.
     She was a resident of Eastern Oregon since 1944, and formerly lived in Glenwood. She was a member of the Glenwood Grange and Glenwood Pioneers as well as the Senior Center and the Pythian Sisters of The Dalles.
     Mrs. Conboy was preceded in death by her husband, Orie Conboy.
     She is survived by two sons, Bill Conboy of Goldendale, and Les Conboy of Umatilla; two daughters, Lorraine Talbert of Missoula, Mont., and June Tarp of Caldwell, Idaho; a brother, Clarence Wright of Vancouver, Wash.; two sisters: Ellen Fair of Camas, Wash., and Della Eaton of Rufus, Ore.; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
     Graveside services were Monday, Aug. 28, in Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood.
     Memorials may be made to the Glenwood Cemetery. Burns Mortuary was in care of arrangements.
