MARY DELLA EVANS LOCKE
Mary Della Evans was born November 19th, 1875 in Decator
County, Iowa and came to Washington in 1888. In 1895 she was married to W.M.
Locke and to this union were born three children: one daughter, Amy Elizabeth,
deceased: two sons, Stanley of Trout Lake, and Melvin of Husum. Also surviving
is a sister, Mrs. Cora Smith, of Portland and there are five grandchildren.
Mrs. Locke passed away January 22nd at the age of 71.
Funeral services were held at Gardner's Funeral Chapel
in White Salmon Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Thomas of the Congregational
Church officiating. Burial followed in the Oddfellow Cemetery at White Salmon.
