DIRKSEN

     Maxine E. Dirksen, 60, of White Salmon, died Feb. 19 in White Salmon, Wash. She was born Oct. 16, 1921 in Oregon City, Ore. to Mr. and Mrs. Roy H. Swift.
     On November 7, 1964 she married Edward W. Dirksen in Klickitat. She lived in Klickitat before moving to White Salmon in 1976.
     Mrs. Dirksen was a retired employee of the Employment Securities Department and she was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Bingen, Wash.
     Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 23 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bingen. Pastor Edwin Rumerfield officiated. Interment was at White Salmon.
     Contributions may be made to the Lung Association.
