"Klickitat Intelligence"

     Maria Emma Freer passed away at her home near Firwood the 21st day of November, 1908. She was born in Butler, Clarion county, Penn., March 16, 1880, and was married to William C. Klatt at Lemars, Iowa, in August, 1881. There was born to this union eight children, four boys and four girls, two girls having gone before. She came to Klickitat five years ago with her family. The funeral services were conducted at the home by Elder J.E. Adams, on Sunday morning. She was buried in the Spring Creek cemetery. The bereaved family have the sympathy of their many friends and neighbors.
